The Democratic National Committee released a statement on Monday, the fourth anniversary of January 6, 2021, continuing to push their debunked lies about Trump and Trump supporters.
“Donald Trump directed a violent mob that stormed our Capitol, attacking law enforcement and threatening our democratic institutions,” the Democrats claim.
Here’s a reminder of what really happened:
It can be recalled that on January 6, hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters gathered at the White House Elipse to attend a rally, where President Trump told them to march “peacefully and patriotically” to the Capitol and make their voices heard. What later ensued at the Capitol was chaos incited by federal agents, Capitol Police, and likely some leftist infiltrators. Before the chaos erupted, Capitol police began firing rubber bullets, tear gas canisters, and flash grenades on the peaceful crowd of Trump supporters gathered around the US Capitol without warning, the Gateway Pundit reported.
Also, as The Gateway Pundit reported, Inspector General David Horowitz released his much-anticipated January 6 report last month. In the IG report, the DOJ admits to 26 “confidential human sources” (page 77) working that day inside the Trump protest at the US Capitol. The IG Report ignored how many “undercover employees” were also at the US Capitol that day. According to the report, the DOJ also admitted that 4 entered the US Capitol and 13 entered the restricted area. However, this is very likely inaccurate. As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the FBI lost track of how many operatives and paid informants they had in the Trump crowd on January 6, 2021.

Even with the violence that occurred–mainly against peaceful Trump supporters–it was the Capitol Police who allowed protestors, who followed feds, to enter the Capitol and even walk around the building.
Does the video below, showing people calmly wandering around the Capitol with American flags and Trump gear while police officers chat beside the group, look anything like a violent mob?
And it was DC’s Mayor and Nancy Pelosi–both Democrats–who refused Trump’s requests for National Guard troops to monitor the crowd on January 6.
The more we learn about January 6 and the January 6 Committee’s bogus investigation by Democrats and RINOs Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, the more damning the incident becomes for the Democrats.
The statement further memorializes “the 140 officers who were injured on January 6 and those who lost their lives due to the Capitol attack,” although no officers lost their lives due to the Capitol attack. In fact, the only person who died on January 6 was Ashli Babbit, a peaceful patriot who was murdered in cold blood by a Capitol Police officer and who is still remembered today by millions of Patriots. One police officer, Brian Sicknick, died of natural causes after he suffered two strokes on January 7, the District Chief medical examiner ruled. Additionally, Sicknick was seen in Capitol surveillance footage walking around the Capitol after he was alleged to be killed by protestors.
The party of defunding the police and truly violent mobs then claims to “strongly reaffirm our commitment to supporting the law enforcement personnel who put their lives on the line every day to keep our democratic institutions safe.” This coming from the people who support and fund Black Lives Matter rioters to attack police and burn, loot, and destroy American cities is just a slap in the face.
At the same time, the Democrats preached about Democracy and used today’s certification ceremony as a moral high ground, stating they “will always work to ensure that our democratic processes and institutions continue to function in service of the American people, whether we win or lose.” Ironically, they threw these principles out the window in the last two elections, first, when they stole the 2020 election, and second, when they rigged their 2024 primary election and replaced the rightful winner, Biden, with Kamala Harris against the will of their voters.
Likewise, Kamala Harris, before she officialized Trump’s landslide victory with 312 electoral votes, released a video statement applauding herself for her “loyalty to our Constitution” and ensuring Americans’ right to vote despite participating in an undemocratic coup just a few months ago.
The DNC’s Monday statement reads,
Four years ago, the world watched as Donald Trump directed a violent mob that stormed our Capitol, attacking law enforcement and threatening our democratic institutions. The peaceful transfer of power is a hallmark of our democracy-especially when elections do not turn in our favor. Democrats remain steadfast in our support of the democratic values our country was founded on and will always work to ensure that our democratic processes and institutions continue to function in service of the American people, whether we win or lose.
Today, we especially remember the 140 officers who were injured on January 6 and those who lost their lives due to the Capitol attack. We strongly reaffirm our commitment to supporting the law enforcement personnel who put their lives on the line every day to keep our democratic institutions safe and call on all those serving in our highest offices to make clear this kind of violent attack on our democracy can never happen again.

Hopefully, accountability for January 6 criminals and justice for innocent victims of political persecution will finally come under the incoming Trump Administration.
