On Monday, two Muslim members of an all-Muslim Hamtramck City Council were charged with several felonies related to voter fraud in the 2023 primary election.
The following charges stem from the 2023 election:
Councilmember Mohammed Hassan, 57, faces three felony charges:
Count 1: Forging a signature on an absentee ballot application
Count 2: Election law forgery
Count 3: False statement on an absentee ballot application
Councilmember Muhtasin Sadman, 26, who is in his first term, faces the following charges:
Count 1: Forging a signature on an absentee ballot application
Count 2: Election law forgery
Count 3: Unqualified elector attempting to vote
Count 4: Unqualified elector attempting to vote
Count 5: False statement in an application for an absentee ballot
Several of the charges carry a maximum of five years in prison.
Curiously, Michigan’s Democrat AG Dana Nessel has decided to bow out of the investigation into voter fraud by two Muslim Hamtramck City Council members related to the 2023 election, and turned it over to the Monroe County Prosecutor. Arab American News claims that AG Nessel recused herself to avoid what she described as accusations of bias against Muslims.
On July 25, Dana Nessel told local reporter Tim Skubik that she’s “not ruling out the possibility” of running for governor of Michigan or for US Senate in 2026.
Could the highly unlikable Dana Nessel replace the equally unlikable term-limited Gretchen Whitmer, who has already, for the most part, abdicated her role as governor to audition for the role of 2028 Democrat candidate for US President? During Governor Whitmer’s iron-fisted COVID lockdowns, which included some of the most nonsensical mandates in America, like forbidding Michigan residents from traveling to their vacation homes in Northern Michigan or from riding in their boats in the Great Lakes State, AG Nessel gladly enforced them.
Why?
It’s also been rumored that Michigan’s attorney general, who is most well-known for using Michigan taxpayer dollars to prosecute her political enemies, including President Trump, with whom Dana Nessel is currently involved in a shocking 17 lawsuits against since he took office in January 2025, is eyeing a seat in the US Senate to replace the retiring US Senator Gary Peters.
The unremarkable Democrat US Senator Peters is most widely recognized for funding the work of the fraudulent voter registration group, GBI Strategies, in Michigan, which Nessel investigated but never charged any of the players in the statewide scheme to steal the 2020 election in urban areas.
The scope of the GBI Strategies investigation and the ramifications for future elections, with potentially hundreds of thousands of fake registrations that were turned in across the state to unsuspecting clerks, far exceed the crimes committed by the two Muslim city council members. Yet, Dana Nessel never prosecuted a single person or group tied to her investigation with SOS Jocelyn Benson’s office, the Michigan State Police, and the Muskegon Police, which many, including Dan Bongino, are calling the best evidence of mass voter fraud in the 2020 election.
Another possibility is that AG Nessel is hiding behind the Monroe Prosecutor while exacting retribution against the Muslim city council members for endorsing President Trump in 2024, which undoubtedly played a role in helping him to sail to victory in the MUST-WIN state of Michigan.
On Oct 25, 2024, President Trump visited Hamtramck, MI, where he had just gotten the endorsement of Mayor Amer Ghalib, the city’s first Muslim Mayor. In a photo that was taken during his visit, at least one of the two Hamtramck city council members who’ve been charged with fraud can be seen smiling in the photo with the mayor, other Muslim members of the all-Muslim city council, and President Trump.
According to the Hamtramck Review, the private meeting with President Trump included Mayor Amer Ghalib, City Councilmembers Abu Musa, Khalil Refai, and Muhtasin Sadman, and various city officials. Several city employees were also on the scene, including officers and firefighters.
The Trump meeting was arranged, primarily, by Mayor Ghalib, the city’s first Yemeni-American and Muslim to be voted in as mayor.
Ghalib, who had identified as a Democrat, made national news by endorsing Trump.
There’s no question these city council members need to be investigated and prosecuted to the full extent of the law; it’s more a question of why Michigan residents accept Nessel’s motives when deciding who or who not to investigate.

In yet another explosive video released by Project Veritas, Hassan, who appeared on the August primary ballot as a candidate for the Wayne County, MI, Commissioner race, can be heard saying, “If everything’s good, we can drop [the ballots] to the City Hall. City Hall has that [ballot] box. We can drop it there.”
Mohammed Hassan will appear on Tuesday’s ballot as a candidate for the Wayne County MI Commissioner race.

Yesterday, a local Detroit news station, WDIV, shared a video that allegedly shows Hamtramck Councilman Abu Musa, the other Hamtramck City Council member charged with election fraud, stuffing a drop box with STACKS of mail ballots
Abu won Hamtramck’s primary election to save his seat on the city council last week by only 76 votes.

We’re certainly not giving these two city council members a pass for their roles in election fraud; we’re simply asking why Dana Nessel chooses who she does or doesn’t prosecute based on the color of skin or political or religious preference.
A perfect example of AG Nessel’s bias isn’t hard to find. On Sept 23, 2019, MI AG Nessel announced 6 election fraud felony charges against Southfield City Clerk Sherikia Hawkins. In her press release, Nessel promised the prosecution would “be led by the Public Integrity Unit of the Department of Attorney General, which ensures that public officials or law enforcement officers who commit crimes in Michigan – regardless of position, standing or party affiliation – are held accountable.”
But accountability was the LAST thing Sherikia Hawkins got.
Sherikia Hawkins, the former Democrat city clerk of Southfield, Michigan, was charged by AG Nessel with 6 felony voter fraud charges for allegedly altering 193 qualified voter file records in the 2018 election. While the case inexplicably dragged on for years without a trial, Hawkins maintained her role as city clerk. Hawkins, who was awaiting trial, actually ran again for city clerk and won! In a curious twist to this story, only two days before her trial was to begin in Oakland County Circuit Court, Judge Kwame Rowe, a Governor Whitmer appointee, dropped five of the six felony charges against Hawkins. Leaving her with only ONE felony charge.
In her original press release, where Nessel announced the six felony voter fraud charges against Hawkins, Nessel said, “The voters of our state deserve a process that is unobstructed. That is why I am committed to doing everything in my power to protect our elections from every conceivable threat. The foundation of our democracy depends on it.” However, in the case of Hawkins, justice was NEVER served. The final charge against Hawkins was dropped in a final plea deal. The dirty former clerk, who was facing up to 48 years in prison, was given no jail time for her six voter fraud-related felonies, and once again, she has been hired to work in yet another taxpayer-funded job, this time, as the Pontiac City Council’s chief of staff.
In 2021, after the DOJ refused to prosecute any of the alternate GOP electors for signing an ALTERNATE slate of electoral votes for President Trump in the event the election was turned over due to massive voter fraud across the nation, AG Nessel took it upon herself to charge 16 mostly senior citizens in a case so clearly designed to punish some of the top Trump supporters in the state of Michigan, that it stunned the nation. AG Nessel charged the electors with 8 felonies each, which would land most of them in prison for the rest of their lives. Citizens across the nation were outraged by Nessel’s punitive actions, designed to destroy this group of mostly senior citizens on fixed incomes for the crime of supporting President Trump. Top conservatives from Hollywood, the media, as well as former and current politicians, came together to raise funds for the 16 GOP alternate electors in an effort to keep them from going bankrupt thanks to Nessel’s unjust and punitive charges.
In a stunning example of government overreach, MI AG Nessel’s lead investigator in the GOP alternate electors case subpoenaed the names and bank account information of donors to the Give Send Go account that was set up to help the group of mostly senior citizens on fixed incomes pay their legal bills. Give Send Go refused to abide by the subpoena and told AG Nessel’s Special Investigator Howard Shock to pound sand. AG Special Investigator Shock was essentially laughed at during his testimony in the electors case, which remains ongoing four years later.
In 2021, Nessel found herself in a close race against a formidable opponent, so what did she do? She shopped around for a Democrat prosecutor who was willing to take on a case against her 2022 political opponent, Republican candidate for AG Matt DePerno. An investigation was opened while Matt DePerno was showing a 1 point lead in the polls in their highly competitive race. The case against DePerno is still ongoing.

When the Gateway Pundit and local, highly respected election integrity groups exposed legitimate cases of voter fraud in the state of Michigan, Dana Nessel went out of her way to smear our investigations and mock those who questioned the sanctity of our elections.
In 2021, the mainstream media smeared the Gateway Pundit for claiming there was an early-morning drop of tens, possibly hundreds of thousands of votes in the back hallway of the TCF Center in Detroit on the day after the election. So, the Gateway Pundit paid the TCF Center to obtain the footage from the back hallways of the TCF Center, where Detroit’s absentee ballots were being processed inside. The Gateway Pundit published the video, and it went viral.
AG Nessel and SOS Benson ignored the video evidence of the early morning massive ballot drop and pretended it was completely normal to drop off a van full of absentee ballots in the back hallway of the largest counting center in Michigan on the day after the election.
At 3:11 AM on the DAY AFTER THE ELECTION, a black escort (rental) car with Tennessee license plates pulled up to a door in the back hallway of the TCF Center that led into the massive counting room where absentee ballots were being processed. The driver of the escort car appeared to have made a call or text to someone inside, who then came out and handed the driver something (possibly cash?) through the vehicle’s window before driving away. Seconds later, a white van pulled up and began unloading a van filled with boxes of absentee ballots. After unloading the van filled with ballots, the white van left the back hallway of the TCF Center at 3:52 AM. At 4:19 AM, the black escort vehicle makes another appearance in the back hallway of the TCF Center. Again, someone inside is alerted, walks out a standard-size door to meet the escort vehicle, hands him something through the window, and the escort vehicle pulls away. Seconds later, the white van reappears to deliver even more ballots to the Detroit counting center.

There was never any explanation of exactly where these ballots came from or why they were delivered the day AFTER the election, why one of the supervisors handed something through the window of the escort car each time he appeared in the hallway before the white van, or why the white van even needed an escort vehicle, for that matter! Instead of calling for an investigation into the extremely suspicious early morning delivery of tens of thousands of ballots to the TCF Center counting room, Dana Nessel warned Republicans to “shut up,” saying, “You have embarrassed our state and defamed Michigan’s most populous city.”

When the Gateway Pundit released stunning footage from the City of Detroit’s, showing individuals either working alone or in teams, dropping off stacks of ballots into drop boxes while taking photos or videos of their activity at various drop boxes across the city of Detroit, AG Nessel never reached out to us to ask for help to investigate these potential crimes. Why?
Here are a few examples of the many videos the Gateway Pundit released, showing what appears to be illegal drop box activity in Detroit.
Why didn’t AG Nessel investigate any of them? And why didn’t local stations like WDIV care to share any of our video footage from the 2020 election, but are willing to show footage of the Muslim city council member from the 2024 election?
It’s curious, however, that when AG Nessel sought help to identify the whistleblower in an exclusive story I wrote about the individuals behind the phony signatures/identities on the Republican frontrunner’s petitions for governor, one of her lead investigators was able to find my cell number and request my assistance in his investigation.
Thanks (likely) to my reporting about the whistleblower’s testimony on the Republican governor’s candidate’s fake signature scandal, Nessel was able to charge Wilmoth with several felonies. But in yet another strange twist in Nessel’s unjust system of justice, local reporter Charlie LeDuff discovered that Dana Nessel’s wife, Alanna Maguire, was reportedly the co-chair for a gay rights initiative in Michigan, where the alleged mastermind behind several fake signature scandals, Sean Wilmoth, was paid a stunning $1 MILLION to collect signatures for her wife’s initiative to get gay rights enshrined in the MI Constitution. Once LeDuff’s reporting on her wife’s activity was released, however, Wilmoth’s trial was mysteriously stalled. According to LeDuff, Wilmoth’s next court date is scheduled for March 2025.
From LeDuff on The Enjoyer – Fair and Equal hired Wilmoth’s firm in 2020 to gather 340,000 legitimate signatures. The group paid First Choice more than $1 million over a two-month period, according to campaign finance filings.
A second firm, K2K Consulting, was paid an additional $250,000 by Fair and Equal to gather signatures during the same time period.
K2K is the Democratic-connected firm that received a controversial no-bid Covid contract from the state.
The deal was canceled once it became public.
When it was all said and done, election officials found that about 200,000 of the First Choice signatures were invalid for varying reasons: Signers didn’t exist in the voting rolls, some had incorrect or non-existent addresses, and some signatures did not match those on file.
Will AG Nessel ever be held accountable for behaving like a Democrat activist while in office, or will her reward instead be an appointment to a higher office for using her power as an elected official to punish her political enemies, cover up for crimes committed by Democrats, and walk away from cases that could harm her status in minority communities?
To date, Kevin Kijewski, a highly qualified candidate for Michigan Attorney General in 2026 and legal counsel for one of the unjustly accused GOP electors, has filed suit against Nessel over her “abuse” of the elderly electors.
And articles of impeachment have been filed against Nessel by several members of the Michigan legislature for using her position to punish political enemies and protect fellow Democrats from prosecution.
Does this woman, who uses Michigan taxpayer dollars to punish the President of the United States, whom Michigan residents overwhelmingly chose in the 2024 general election, as well as numerous political opponents, really believe she’s earned the right to run for higher office in the state of Michigan? Are Michigan citizens okay with her hiding prosecutions of minorities in their state and, in several instances, allowing them to go scot free?
