New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is twisting himself into a pretzel to try to explain the unexplainable.
His wife, Rama Duwaji, publicly celebrated the radical terrorist actions of Hamas when they attacked civilians on October 7, 2023.
According to a report from Jewish Insider (JI), Duwaji, a Syrian-American artist, liked Instagram posts just hours after the murderous attacks that celebrated the attacks and expressed anti-Israel rhetoric.
One post featured disturbing images of the depraved assault that left 1,200 dead and 250 more taken hostage to be brutally abused.
The report also notes Duwaji reportedly liked another post about a protest after Oct. 7, which featured the genocidal statement, “FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA, PALESTINE WILL BE FREE!”

When the radical Mayor was forced to address his wife’s disturbing behavior on social media, he tried to deflect her behavior by saying she isn’t a public figure.
“My wife is the love of my life, and she’s also a private person who has held no formal position on my campaign or in my City Hall,” Mamdani said.
“I, however, was elected to represent all 8.5 million people in the city. And I believe that it’s my responsibility because of that role to answer questions about my thoughts and my politics, and my stances.”

Put it all together. Of course she’s the “love of his life”—they’re completely in sync.

JI notes, “Duwaji did not respond to multiple requests for comment, and the mayor’s office would not answer questions regarding his feelings about her online activity, or whether they had discussed the Oct. 7 attacks at the time.”
“Rather, his team repeated his standard line on the bloody terrorist rampage.”
